The Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba , has felicitated the Muslim faithful in her council and globally, on the occasion of the 2026 Eid -el-Kabir celebration.
In her statement commemorating the celebration, Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba, described the celebration as a reminder of obedience, sacrifice and total submission to God.
”I join the Muslim faithful in Ijede LCDA and across the world to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
”Today serves as a profound reminder of the unwavering faith, obedience, sacrifice, and total submission demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his son in obedience to the will of our Creator.”
She prayed that the celebration will further sustain the unity and progress in Ijede and the country at large.
”As we rejoice, I pray Almighty Allah (SWT) accept our sacrifices, answer our prayers, and bless our homes with peace, progress, and prosperity.
”May this joyous occasion further strengthen the bonds of love, unity, and peaceful coexistence within our community and beyond.
